January 31st. - Chops will be appearing with the Ray Chew Orchestra on BET’s Celebration Of Gospel TV Show . Artists include Chaka Khan, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, and BeBe Winans.
January 21st - 24th - Chops attended the 2016 NAMM Convention. They performed with Canadian groups LMT Connection and New World Son, Bassist Doug Wimbish of Living Color, and legendary New Orleans artist Dr. John.

On Jan. 4th Chops was honored to be featured on the upcoming album of singer Joshi Armstead. Horn arrangements were done by our mentor and friend Fred Wesley and they were SLAMMIN’!! Joshi was one of the original Ikettes performing with Ike and Tina Turner and has worked with Ashford and Simpson and many other artists too numerous to mention. Plenty of soulful sass! Chops performed with the Ray Chew Orchestra at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on Oct. 5 for the Women’s Gala “Magical Voices”. Guests on the show included Ledisi, The Four Freshmen, and Naturally 7.

Chops will be appearing at the Bishop T.D. Jakes Mega Fest Gospel Festival with the Ray Chew Orchestra. The festival runs from August 29th through September 1st and is hosted by Vickie Winans. Featured performers include Smokie and Ashton Norful, Tamela Mann, John P. Kee, and many others.
Chops is also featured in an upcoming project with Canadian groups New World Son and LMT Connection. This particular project is called The New Soul Standard and is destined to bring a new “standard” to what real music is all about! Stay tuned!
